This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and payment issues are handled for Mido Hasan.
Mido Hasan is a founder-led strategic brand and web design studio operated by UNRELIX LTD, a UK private limited company.

1. General refund rule
All payments are final once made.
Because project work typically begins after payment is received, payments are not refundable once made.
This includes deposits, upfront payments, project payments, retainer payments, and payments for booked project time.
2. Why payments are non-refundable
When a payment is made, Mido Hasan may immediately begin:
- Strategy
- Research
- Planning
- Creative direction
- Design preparation
- Development preparation
- Scheduling
- Project setup
- Communication
- Resource allocation
- Production work
Payment also reserves time that may no longer be available to other clients.
For this reason, payments are not refundable after they are made.
3. Project deposits
For projects using a split payment structure, the first payment is usually a deposit or upfront payment.
Unless agreed otherwise in writing:
- The first payment confirms the project booking
- The first payment allows work to begin
- The first payment is non-refundable
- The remaining balance is due before launch, handover, final delivery, or transfer of files/access
4. Smaller projects
For smaller projects requiring 100% upfront payment, the full payment is non-refundable once made.
5. Retainers
Monthly retainers are paid upfront and are non-refundable.
Unused time, capacity, or services do not automatically roll over unless agreed in writing.
If a client does not use the available retainer support during the agreed period, no refund or credit is owed unless agreed otherwise in writing.
6. Project cancellation by the client
If the client chooses to cancel a project after payment has been made:
- Payments already made are not refunded
- Any completed or partially completed work may be withheld until all outstanding payments are settled
- Any unpaid balance may still be due depending on the agreed scope, timeline, and work completed
- Mido Hasan may close the project and release the booked time

7. Project cancellation by Mido Hasan
We may cancel or stop work on a project if:
- The client fails to pay on time
- The client does not provide required materials, access, feedback, or approvals
- The client becomes abusive, threatening, or unreasonable
- The scope changes beyond what was agreed
- The project involves illegal, unethical, misleading, or harmful activity
- Continuing the project is no longer practical or appropriate
If we cancel a project because of client breach, delay, non-payment, misconduct, or failure to cooperate, payments already made are not refunded.
If we cancel a project for reasons unrelated to client conduct or breach, we may offer a fair partial refund at our discretion based on the amount of work completed, time reserved, and costs already incurred.
8. Client delays and inactivity
If the client does not respond or provide required materials for 14 days, the project may be paused.
If the client does not respond or provide required materials for 30 days, the project may be closed.
If a project is paused or closed because of client delay or inactivity, payments already made are not refunded.
Restarting the project may require an additional fee and will depend on availability.
9. Revisions and dissatisfaction
Each project includes two revision rounds unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Refunds are not provided because:
- The client changes their mind
- The client changes direction
- The client no longer needs the work
- The client’s business priorities change
- The client dislikes work after ignoring or changing the agreed direction
- The client expected work outside the agreed scope
- The client did not provide clear feedback during the revision process
We will use the agreed revision process to refine the work within scope.
Additional revisions may be charged separately, usually at $150 per hour or as a fixed quoted fee unless agreed otherwise in writing.
10. Final delivery and handover
Final files, launch, website handover, access transfer, or approved deliverables may be withheld until all payments are complete.
No refund is owed after final delivery, launch, handover, or file/access transfer.
11. Third-party costs
Third-party costs are non-refundable.
This may include:
- Hosting
- Domains
- Premium fonts
- Plugins
- Apps
- Themes
- Stock assets
- Software
- Subscriptions
- Payment gateway fees
- Platform fees
- Bank fees
- Transfer fees
- Currency conversion fees
If Mido Hasan purchases third-party services or assets on the client’s behalf, those costs are not refundable unless the third-party provider issues a refund.
12. Digital products and templates
Digital products, templates, downloadable files, resources, and similar products are non-refundable after purchase, download, access, or delivery.
A refund may only be considered if:
- The file is defective
- The issue is reported within 7 days of purchase
- The issue prevents reasonable use of the product
- We are unable to fix or replace the defective file
Refunds are not provided for digital products because:
- The buyer changed their mind
- The buyer purchased the wrong product
- The buyer lacks the software, platform, or skill needed to use it
- The buyer expected customization that was not included
- The product is incompatible with a third-party tool not listed as supported
- The buyer no longer needs it
13. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you have an issue with a payment, contact us first at: hi@midohasan.com.
You agree to allow 14 days for informal resolution before starting a payment dispute or chargeback, unless urgent action is legally required.
Unfair or false chargebacks may result in project termination, withheld deliverables, recovery of fees, and refusal of future service.
14. No guaranteed results
Refunds are not provided because a project does not produce a specific business outcome.
We do not guarantee:
- Sales
- Leads
- Revenue
- Traffic
- Search rankings
- Conversion increases
- Social media growth
- Investor interest
- Client acquisition
The work is designed to improve clarity, perception, structure, trust, and user experience, but business results depend on many factors outside our control.

Include:
- Your name
- Project or product name
- Invoice or payment reference
- Reason for the request
- Any relevant screenshots, files, or details
Submitting a refund request does not guarantee a refund.
16. Changes to this Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time.
The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
Continued use of the website, purchase of a product, or payment for services after changes are published means you accept the updated Refund Policy.
